Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. DSM 5 diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder currently in acute episode of Depression. 2. Age between 18 to 65 years 3. To give consent for the study. 4. Bipolar Depression with past mania 5. Bipolar depression on drugs other than trial agents

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Ages less than 18 years and more than 65 years; 2. Consent not provided 3. patients who are pregnant. 4. bipolar patients with Mixed episode 5. Anybody who is already on the trial agent
