Intervention1: Vitamin C, Thiamine and Hydrocortisone: For intervention arm, administration of intravenous vitamin C (1.5 gm Q6H) for 4 days, hydrocortisone (50 mg Q6H followed by tapering) for atleas

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted to ICU with : 1)primary diagnosis of sepsis/septic shock as determined based on SSC 2012 guidelines. 2)Patients > 18 years of age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients 2)Pregnancy 3)Patients with limitations of care (advanced disease with malignancy) 4)Burns 5)Acute liver failure
