Interventions

Intervention1: Self myofascial release group: patients will recieve superficial heat, lumbar range of motion exercises and core activation exercises along with self myofascial release with tennis ball

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed as a case of non-specific mechanical low back pain by an Orthopedician. 2. Patient with radiological evidence. 3. Able to read and write in English.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Major trauma or fall in last 6 months. 2. Patients with a neurological, cardiovascular, endocrine, metabolic or psychiatric disorder. 3. Pregnancy or nursing period. 4. Patients with other spinal pathologies.

1. Visual Analogue Scale score. Timepoint: 1. Pre treatment 2. immediately post treatment

1. Lumbar range of motion using pelvic inclinometer. 2. Sit and reach test. 3. Modified Oswestry low back pain disability questionnaire.Timepoint: 1. baseline 2. post treatment
