Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Newly diagnosed locally advanced Oral Gingivo-Buccal Complex Squamous Carcinomas, as defined by the TNM Classification of AJCC 8th Edition, who have consented for being included in the study and will are eligible to receive standard of care institutional practise for the disease and periodic follow up thereafter.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Early stage patients (TNM stage 1 and 2 ) and patients who have received prior treatment will be excluded.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The study will help us characterize the immune and genomic profile, specifically T cell repertoire, of OSCC-GB in a uniform cohort of patients, using the selected methodology.Timepoint: 1st one year

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
By following up this uniform cohort of patients regularly, we will explore the association between the immune profile and patient outcomes, as a result we hope to develop a potential prognostic and /or predictive group of immune biomarkers. These biomarkers can be used for next generation of biomarker evaluation studies and developing immune prognostic signatures.Timepoint: Two years
