Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood Timepoint: At baseline before induction of anesthesia At a time point immediately prior to initiation of one lung ventilation At 30 mins after initiation of one lung ventilation At end of surgery | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Arterial blood gas analysis: Partial pressure of carbon dioxide, Alveolar -arterial oxygen difference, bicarbonate and pHTimepoint: At baseline before induction of anesthesia At a time point immediately prior to initiation of one lung ventilation At 30 mins after initiation of one lung ventilation At end of surgery ;Intra-operative complicationsTimepoint: Intraoperative period;Ventilatory parameters: tidal volume, peak airway pressure, plateau airway pressure, Fraction of inspired Oxygen, Mean airway pressure and pressure supportTimepoint: At a time point, immediately prior to initiation of one lung ventilation At 30 mins after initiation of one lung ventilation At end of surgery | — |
