Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with diabetes attending the chronic disease clinic at the peripheral health centre, Ramanathapuram, Puducherry 2. Patients with diabetes who have access to a functional mobile phone both owned by oneself or by a family member

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with diabetes who could not be reachable even after three attempts
