Intervention1: Origami Based Teaching: Students will be taught concepts of geometry and fractions using origami figures. 45 minute sessions for 3 consecutive days. Control Intervention1: Regular Teach

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The participants should be aged between 10-12 years. The informed consent from the parents and assent from the child will be taken.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All children will be included in the study, but the data from subjects repeating the 6th grade will be excluded from the analysis of results. Those with visual or hearing impairment or a physical handicap that might interfere with completion of the module will also be excluded from the study. Further, students who have abacus training and/or those who have been exposed to origami before shall not be included in the study.
