Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: age matched healthy volunteers and periodontitis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: any systemic diseases , antibiotic or anti inflammatory drugs at time of recruitment,history of smoking or Oralprophylaxsis when recruited

periodontal parameters -pocket depth,attachment loss,sleep quality scales PSQI and EPS ,plasma and salivary melatonin Levels pre and post nonsurgical therapy.Timepoint: Three months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
clinical periodontal parameters, PSQI and EPS sleep quality assesment, saliva and plasma melatonin post non surgical therapy with and without sleeep hygiene practices .Timepoint: three months
