Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Cases: Five households having at least two members having chronic extensive recalcitrant dermatophytosis will be chosen for the study. Controls: Five houses whose members are not suffering from infection for last three months will be the controls.

Exclusion criteria: Patients who do not consent

| This study will help in bringing out the role of fomite transmission and air borne transmission of dermatophytes, especially in recalcitrant and recurrent cases.
