Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with clinical diagnosis of melasma.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients suffering from any significant systemic illness. 2. Patient with known hypersensitivity to tranexamic acid. 3. Patients with any other facial dermatoses. 4. Patients on anticoagulants, oral contraceptive pills, hormone replacement therapy, NSAIDs, antiepileptic medications, isotretinoin or any other phototoxic medication. 5. Pregnancy and lactation. 6. History of thrombotic disease like DVT.
