Control Intervention1: Erythrosine dye: Also known as Red No. 3 dye. it is used as a photosensitizing agent. intermittent application of the dye was done during laser gingivectomy.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Bilaterally identical type of gingival enlargement. systemically healthy patient. non smokers, not tobacco chewers and not taking nicotine in any form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant or lactating patients. Patients undergone any surgery within last six months or patients on medications.

the use of this red (3% erythrosine) dye will act as a substitute for internal chromophores and will help to increase the absorption of diode lasers within the tissue and will thus improve the cutting efficiency reducing the surgical time during laser gingivectomy in humansTimepoint: 1 week, 1 month, 3 months
