Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • ASA physical status I and II patients in the age-group 18-50 undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • History suggestive of allergy to either study drug. • History suggestive of chronic use of antacids. • Chronic alcoholics • BMI >=30 kg/m2 • Known case of diabetes, chronic hypertension, cardiac disease. • Known renal or hepatic insufficiency. • Known case of neuromuscular disorders. • Anticipated difficult airway • Pregnant patients • Patients at risk of aspiration i.e. full stomach, GERD, hiatus hernia etc.
