Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Apparently healthy children of either sex, living in the same community, Acute Encephalitis Syndrome is endemic. 2 Informed consent from the head of the family for all the children in that family.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Symptoms of current Acute Encephalitis Syndrome 2 Suffering from known immune compromised diseases
