Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age above 40 years of both sexes 2. Currently stable disease (atleast 4 weeks after resolution of last exacerbation) 3. Patients with primary diagnosis of COPD based on spirometry criteria following GOLD guidelines (Global Initiative for Chronic Lung Disease) â?? A post-bronchodilator FEV1/FVC 0.7 4. Patients who have smoked >=20 pack years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of asthma or increase in FEV1 >12% and >200 ml from baseline after administration of bronchodilator 2. Inability to perform the lung function test or 6-minute walk distance tests 3. Unstable angina or congestive heart failure patients 4. Patients not giving consent
