Health Condition 1: null- Patients undergoing open donor nephrectomy

Interventions

Intervention1: Combination of morphine and dexmedetomidine (group MD): Patient controlled analgesia pump was prepared using 60mg morphine, 150 mcg dexmedetomidine and 16mg ondansetron diluted to 30ml

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American society of Anesthesiologist physical status 1 and 2 patients between the age group of 18 to 65 years undergoing elective open donor nephrectomy surgery were included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who refused to participate in the trial, patients allergic to opioids, patients unable to understand PCA use and those receiving narcotics were excluded from the study
