Intervention1: yashtimadhu kalpana: yashtimadhu kvatha bhavita yashtimadhu churna in the capsule form of 450mg each two capsules thrice daily after food for a continuous period of 60 days with lukewar

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Clinically diagnosed Depressive cases on the basis of Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression Age between 20-65 years irrespective of gender caste religion and economic status

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having Depressive episodes with psychotic symptoms Patients with severe systemic diseases like cardiac problems malignancy TB etc Unwilling patients
