Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Women posted for elective LSCS with singleton pregnancy of 39-41 weeks of gestation. 2. Age between 20-40 years. 3. Weight between 45-70 kg. 4. Height between 145-160 cm 5. Women belonging to ASA I category

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Parturients with obstetric complications like pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH), obesity, pre-existing hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, cerebrovascular diseases and gestational diabetes. 2. Evidence of foetal anomalies. 3. Patients who are contraindicated for spinal anaesthesia.
