Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients having bilateral mesio-angularly impacted third molars of type Class I and Position A and fulfilling ASA-1 criteria
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients in whom surgery is medically contraindicated. Patients with mandibular second molar/molars missing or partially erupted. Immuno-compromised patients and patients with metabolic disorders. Patients on long term steroid therapy. Patients allergic to the nitro-imidazole drug group. Patients with active infection pre-operatively. Patients with alcohol abuse habits.
