Intervention1: Scaling and root planing with Aloevera impregnated collagen membrane: Scaling and root planing with Aloevera impregnated collagen membrane in other side of the jaw. Control Intervention

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects with periodontal pockets greater than or equal to 5 mm bilaterally at least at one site Subjects who has not undergone any previous periodontal treatment including scaling and root planing and periodontal surgery in the last 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with any systemic disease Smokers Pregnant and lactating females Patients taking any antibiotic therapy or over the counter antioxidants such as vitamin C, vitamin E or beta carotene within the last 3 months.
