Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All the subjects aged between 20 to 60 years and having minimum 20 natural teeth were recruited

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The criteria for exclusion included; subjects under antibiotics in the past six months, pregnant and lactating women, subjects who had a history of any periodontal therapy in past six months and patients with systemic diseases.
