Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects aged between 35 to 60years Subjects diagnosed with clinical features of chronic periodontitis with probing pocket depth (PPD) >= 5 mm Subjects are required to have minimum 20 natural teeth Subjects who are willing to comply with the study protocol

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects who had received any antibiotic therapy in last 6 months Subjects who underwent periodontal therapy in last 6months Pregnant and lactating mothers Subjects suffering from systemic disorders Subjects who had received any chemotherapeutic mouth rinses and other oral irrigations during past 6 months Subjects not willing to comply with the study protocol
