Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA I or ASA II Weight 40-90 kg

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with heart blocks or any cardiac arrhythmias. 2. Patients on alpha adrenergic antagonists or beta blockers preoperatively. 3. Patients with uncontrolled hypertension. 4. Allergy to local anaesthetics. 5. Infection at the site of injection. 6. Coagulopathy 7. Neurological deficit 8. Patient refusal

MeasureTime frame
To assess onset and duration of sensory and motor block, time to reach the highest dermatome level and time for two segment regression. Timepoint: 1 year
