Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA 1 and 2 patients, who will be posted to undergo general surgery in supine position under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation will be enrolled.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with tracheostomy, lateral and prone positioning, emergency surgery or morbid obesity (body mass index > 35).

MeasureTime frame
The cuff pressure difference with MLT or MOV with standard technique, the amount of air which is taken in or taken out and the leak fraction at the cuff pressure of 26 cm of H2O. Timepoint: The cuff pressure difference with MLT or MOV with standard technique, the amount of air which is taken in or taken out and the leak fraction at the cuff pressure of 26 cm of H2O at intubation and before extubation.
