Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children aged 10-14 years. 2. Participants having plaque/gingivitis. 3. Participants having normal occlusion. 4. Absence of restorations or any appliances

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Medically compromised patients. 2. Patients on any long term medications. 3. Patients who have used any type of antibacterial mouthwash four weeks prior the initiation of the study. 4. Children with systemic/medical/physical disabilities. 5. Parents not willing to give informed written consent. 6. Patients having history of known allergy to ginger, chlorhexidine or green tea.
