Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Irrespective of, religion, socioeconomic status and food habits. 2. Patient evaluated with Grade 2 of Malnutrition (I.A.P Grading of Malnutrition)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children who supposed to have- 1. Systemic diseases (Tuberculosis, Diabetes, any other infectious illness requiring active management). 2. Gross congenital problems. 3. Malignancies. 4. Mal-absorption syndrome or inborn errors of metabolism. 5. Children evaluated with other grades of PEM, i.e. normal, grade1, grade3 and grade4 of IAP classification.
