Control Intervention1: Preservative free Inj Ketamine: 40 mg kitamine mixed in 30 ml saline and instructed the patient for gargle with it 5 min before induction of general anaesthesia in control group

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I and II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Allergy to drug used Recent use of NSAIDs Recent history of sore throat Mallampatti grade 3 and 4 Patients who required more than one attampt for intubation
