Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients willing to undergo regenerative treatment for intrabony defects. 2.Presence of intrabony defect with a clinical probing pocket depth of >= 6mm, with radiographic evidence. 3.Systemically healthy patients. 4.Patients who have not been on any medications within the last 6 months which may alter the periodontal status.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients unwilling to participate in the study. 2.Smokers and alcoholic patients. 3.Pregnant and lactating mothers. 4.Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment within the last 1 year. 5.Patients with plaque index >1 and who are unwilling to follow oral hygiene practices after phase I therapy.
