Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
We expected that after transfusion of leukoreduced blood components there are less than 20 % changes in cytokines (INF-γ) level in their blood as compared to non-leukoreduced blood component transfusion.Timepoint: We expected that after transfusion of leukoreduced blood components there are less than 20 % changes in cytokines (INF-γ) level in their blood as compared to non-leukoreduced blood component transfusion.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.There are less incidence of postoperative infections and 2.Reduces the length of stay of patients in ICU and hospitals and 3.Reduces the mortality in patients undergoing neurosurgery.Timepoint: 7 days and 30 days
