Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To study the prevalence of malnutrition at diagnosis in patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma using different nutritional assessment tools (Subjective Global Assessment (SGA), MUST, MNA and NRS 2002)Timepoint: 1 year

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.concordance between the SGA, MUST, MNA and NRS 2002 scoring systems 2.the sensitivity and specificity of the different scales as compared to the SGA for diagnosing malnutrition 3.3. To study the predictors for malnutrition among patients with pancreatic cancers 4.Study demographic features 5.5. To correlate nutritional status with complications while on treatment 6.6. To validate the FACT-G and FACT-HEP questionnaires 7.To compare the nutritional status and QoL Timepoint: 1 year
