Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Clinically healthy Pre Hypertensive according to WHO/JNC VII classification 1) Systolic BP between >=120- 139 mm Hg and/or a diastolic BP between >=80- 89 mm Hg 2)Age group- 20-40 years both male and females

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hypertension ( Systolic BP >=140 mm Hg and Diastolic BP >=90 mm of Hg). 1. Secondary hypertension 2. use of antihypertensive medication 3. clinical cardiovascular disease, stroke 4. diabetes (fasting plasma glucose >=126 mg/dL) 5. chronic kidney disease 6. current use of anti-diabetic medications or insulin 7. heavy alcohol consumption 8. current use of a low sodium salt in diet
