Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: subjects- 70 adult patients [ age > 18 years to 65 years] admitted to Surgical Trauma Critical Care unit following crush injury to lower limb after trauma will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients less than 18 years of age, Patients with established AKI Patients with chronic kidney disease

MeasureTime frame
evaluate TIMP-2 in combination with IGFBP-7 ([TIMP-2]Ã?[IGFBP7] as an adequate diagnostic test to identify early AKI after traumatic crush injuries.Timepoint: The primary endpoint will be the new occurrence of acute kidney injury stage 2 or 3 within 48 h after admission to ICU.
