Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients more than 18 years of age, requiring tracheostomy in trauma ICU were considered as eligible

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with short neck , patients who had a tracheostomy / any neck surgery in the past or those with tracheal injury were excluded from the study.
