Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All adult patients in the age group of 18-60 years, who are able to read and write, scheduled for elective major oncosurgeries under GA and having an expected postoperative stay of 1 week and a long-term follow-up of 3 months.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary aim of this study to assess the incidence of post-operative cognitive dysfunction in patients following supramajor oncosurgeries.Timepoint: It will be assessed at 24 hours, 3rd day, 7th day post surgery and followed by 3 months post surgery.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary goal is to identify the risk factors leading to post-operative cognitive dysfunction along with the cognitive parameters affected.Timepoint: It will be assessed at 24 hours, 3rd day, 7th day post surgery and followed by 3 months post surgery.
