Interventions

Intervention1: Sadbindu sarpi nasya: 6 drugs in sadbindu sarpi Glycyrrhiza glabra, Embelia ribes, Zingiber officinale, Eclipta alba, Madhuka longifolia, Go ghrita. dose- 6 drops in each nostril contin

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A. Patients age between 16-60 years with Ardhavabhedaka [Migraine], Adapted from the International headache society. B. Repeated attacks of headache lasting 4-72 hrs. C. No other reasonable cause for the headache and with following features Ardhavabhedaka/ Migraine 1. Bheda/ Throbbing pain 2. Toda 3. Aggravation by movement 4. Bhrama 5. Nausea / vomiting 6. Sastravta Vedana 7. Arnivta Vedana 8. Photophobia and phono phobia 9. Lalat Ardhavedana/ Unilateral pain

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A. Patients below 16 and above 60 years of age. B. Patients suffering from Sinusitis / Hypertension / Fever. C. Patients suffering from Secondary headache caused due to Meningitis / Tumour / Encephalitis / Cervical Spondylitis / Refractive error. D. Patients associated with other systemic disorders were excluded. E. Referred pain in one half of the head due to disorders of eye, ear, nose, throat, teeth etc. F. Ardhavabhedaka complicated with loss of hearing or vision.
