Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who will undergo fixed orthodontic therapy 2. Patients in the age group of 12-40 years 3. Patients with a minimum of 50 percent deep bite. 4. Horizontal to average skeletal pattern. 5. Patients in whom bite opening by extrusion of posteriors are indicated as a part of their treatment plan.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous history of orthodontic treatment 2. Presence of craniofacial anomalies 3. Presence of any signs and symptoms of periodontal diseases 4. Presence of significant medical history 5. Pregnant and lactating women
