Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group 1: 25 patients without coronary artery disease undergoing major intracranial neurosurgical procedure; and Group 2: 25 cardiac disease patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with contraindication to Transesophageal echocardiography, Patients presenting for emergency surgery
