Interventions

Intervention1: NIRS(Near infrared spectroscopy) with motor imagery: After baseline assessment (PRE), participating patients will receive mental practice with motor imagery accompanied by neurofeedback

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Written informed consent from participants • A clinical and radiological diagnosis of stroke with hemiparesis • More than or equal to two weeks from initial symptom onset • No contraindications to NIRS

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Denied informed consent. 2.Hemianopia. 3.Moderate-to-severe aphasia. 4.Neglect. 5.Sensory loss. 6.Cognitive disturbance (mini-mental state examination [MMSE] >=23) 7.Depression. 8.Any contraindications to NIRS.
