Intervention1: cataract surgeries phacoemulsification and manual SICS: the cataract patients coming to us will be operated by phacoemulsification or manual SICS, based on their preference for foldable

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with senile cataract and pre-senile cataract All the subjects included in this study shall be operated by one surgeon only The type of incision made will be the same In all the subjects undergoing Phacoemulsification The type of incision and size will be same for patients undergoing SICS All the patients who have undergone uneventful cataract surgery will only be included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any evidence of glaucoma Any previous intraocular surgery Any other ocular pathology (uveitis, iris-bombe, synechiae, tumours etc) Systemic diseases like connective tissue disorders, HTN, DM, thyroid disorders, malignancies..etc Any evidence of ocular trauma in the past All other cataracts like paediatric cataract,traumaticcataract,steroid induced cataract,etc shall be excluded Axial length 26mm shall be excluded
