Health Condition 1: null- All children diagnosed with epilepsy and having epilepsy for more than 6 months are cases and children without epilepsy but having minor ailments are controls.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. All children diagnosed with epilepsy as per ILAE criteria for epilepsy and having epilepsy for more than 6 months will be the cases and children without epilepsy but having minor ailments like cough , cold, fever etc will be the controls respectively. 2. Age group 5-12 years 3. Those parents who are willing to participate and giving their consent for study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Children having epilepsy due to medical causes like fever, metabolic changes, meningitis/encephalitis, cerebral palsy. 2. Children already diagnosed and /or under treatment for any psychiatric illness like hyperactivity or behavioural disturbances, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, etc 3. History suggestive of mental retardation. 4. Those parents who are not willing to give consent for the study.
