Intervention1: SRP and PERIO Q GEl: consisted of contralateral side of the same
subject in which scaling and root planning was performed followed by
intrapocket Perio Q gel application.

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient suffering from chronic periodontitis and having pocket depth >=5mm in more than 30 sites. Radiographic evidence of bone loss. Patient age group of 20-55 yrs. Patient who are willing to consent for the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient with history of systemic disease. Any apparent oral infection like herpes or candida. Patient who taken antibiotic therapy in past 3 months. Patient who have undergone periodontal therapy in last 6 months. Smokers , pregnant as well as post-menopausal women and lactating women.
