Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Critically Ill children who require PICU care with no contraindication(eg: gastrointestinal bleeding, ileus, suspected perforation)for initiation of enteral nutrition or insertion of small bore feeding tube aged 1 year to 13 years and PICU for >24 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with Bowel obstruction 2. Children with risk of intestinal ischemia 3.Patients receiving Parenteral Nutrition 4.Those who have undergone surgeries on GI tract 5.Patients whose parents refuse to give consent.
