Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-40 years 2. ASA grade 1 and 2 3. Period of gestation >37 weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal 2. Any contraindications to subarachnoid block 3. History of allergy to bupivacaine or fentanyl

â?¢ Onset,level and duration of sensory block. â?¢ Onset and duration of motor block. â?¢ Bradycardia and hypotension. â?¢ Nausea and vomiting and any other complications. â?¢ Need for intraoperative analgesic supplementation and pharmacological correction of bradycardia and hypotension. â?¢ APGAR score for neonatal well being at 5 minutes.
