Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects willing to participate in the study by informed consent. Presence of minimum 20 natural gradable teeth according to clinical indices selected for the study excluding third molars. Good level of oral hygiene as a criterion for good level of oral hygiene, a mean plaque index (Pl) score

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with gingival or periodontal disease. Subjects who have received any form of periodontal therapy, surgical or non surgical therapy within past 6 months. Subjects wearing orthodontic or prosthetic appliances. Subjects who give present or past history of smoking. History of known allergies to constituents found in conventional toothpastes. Subjects with a habit of mouth breathing, parafunctional habits like bruxism, clenching etc. Subjects with poor manual dexterity.
