Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with all types of psoriasis; under medication for the same (methotrexate) Individuals with minimum of 20 teeth present in oral cavity. 2. Individuals willing to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy or lactation 2. Subjects having any systemic disease other than psoriasis 3. Under any medication (except methotrexate for psoriasis) 4. Subjects using tobacco in any form 5. Alcoholics 6. Subjects who have undergone periodontal therapy in previous 6 months 7. Refusal to give informed consent

1) To find the prevalence of periodontal disease in patients suffering from Psoriasis in the population of Chandigarh. 2) To evaluate the correlation between the levels of IL-17 and IL- 33 in serum of Psoriatic patients suffering from moderate to severe Periodontitis Timepoint: periodontal parameters, demographic records and serum collection, all to be done at first visit as the study is cross sectional study
