Conditions

Health Condition 1: null- Age group between 18 and 65years of either gender belonging to ASAPS 1 undergoing any surgery under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elective surgical procedures under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation Age between 18 to 60 years age of either gender Modified Mallampati class I & II ASA PS I

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Anticipated difficult airway 2. Baseline heart rate 3. At risk for gastric aspiration 4. BMI > 30 kg/m2 5. Known allergy to lignocaine
