Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Internal haemorrhoids diagnosed as per ICD 10 grade criteria (Code K64): 2. First degree haemorrhoids: Grade/stage I haemorrhoids â?? Haemorrhoids (bleeding) without prolapse outside of anal canal 3. Second degree haemorrhoids: Grade/stage II haemorrhoids â?? Haemorrhoids (bleeding) that prolapse with straining, but retract spontaneously 4. With any of the following clinical symptoms: bleeding, pain (including discomfort and tenesmus during defecation or any other time), heaviness, pruritus, and mucus discharge.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant or lactating women 2. External hemorrhoids 3. Skin tags 4. Malignancies 5. Rectal polyps 6. Anal fissure 7. Irritable bowel syndrome 8. On allopathic drugs, other than for hypertension or diabetes mellitus 9. Other ongoing treatment which is likely to interfere with the course of this treatment.
