Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Stroke in Anterior and Middle Cerebral Artery First onset of stroke Unilateral stroke Subacute and chronic stroke Brunstromm grade 3 to 5 in paretic lower limb Mini Mental State Examination Score more than or equal to 23

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of seizures Medications known to alter Central Nervous System Excitability(carbamazepine) History of recent lower limb injury,fracture or surgery History of unstable or untreated cardiovascular diseases Aphasia Metal Implant in the cranial cavity or lower limb Presence of a pacemaker

Root Mean Square (Amplitude in millivolts) in 4 muscles: Rectus Femoris,Biceps Femoris, Tibialis Anterior and Medial GastrocnemiusTimepoint: Prior to the application of tDCS (Pre) and immediately after the session of tDCS (Post) on the same day
