Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA I & II patient 2. Patient undergoing lower limb surgeries under subarachnoid block

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients belonging to ASA grade III, IV and V. 2.Patients with liver and renal dysfunction. 3.Patients with cardiac dysrhythmias. 4.Patients using ARBs, calcium channel blockers. 5.Patients with body weight > 100 kg or height 6.Patients with contraindications for spinal anesthesia - past history of spine surgery, infection focus at back, coagulopathy hypersensitivity to local anaesthetics or deep vein thrombosis. 7.Patients with allergy to the study drugs. 8.Patients with sedative drugs consumption. 9.Patients with history of uncontrolled, labile hypertension. 10.Patients with failure of spinal block and the need for general anesthesia. 11.Pregnant females.

The vital signs will be recorded every 2 minutes for 20 minutes and then every 5 minutes for the entire intra-operative period and also at the completion of the surgery. Intra and perioperative nausea and vomiting, pruritus, shivering, additive analgesia, sedation or any other side-effects recorded.
