Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Full-term monofetal pregnancy (>=37 wks of gestational age) 2) Age between 18 years and 99years 3) ASA grade 1 or 2 3) Elective or emergency lower segment caesarean section (LSCS) under spinal anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Morbid Obesity 2) Patient with comorbid conditions like heart disease ,Diabetes mellitus, eclampsia, coagulopathy ,HELLP Syndrome 3) Patients with any obvious features of airway difficulty such as abnormal dentition- buck teeth /loose teeth,jaw abnormalities - micrognathia, prognathia ,retrognathia ,restricted mouth opening i.e. an Inter-incisor distance
