Intervention1: Test Drug: A topical Unani formulation with the following ingredients: an aqueous extract of following drugs in equal quantity ( 10 gms each) with simple shampoo base
Nakhood (Cicer arietinum) Baqla (Vicia faba) Turmus (Lupinou salbus) Khatmi (Althea officinalis) Meethi (Trigonella foenum) : Total dose of Unani formulation with simple shampoo base fo

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female patients only Clinically stable patients of Seborrhoic dermatitis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children below 15 and above 50 years. Patient using any other medication for dandruff may be included after washout period of two weeks. Patient with psoriasis, tinea capitis, contact dermatitis, alopecia areata. Patient who fail to give consent. Patient who failed to follow up. Male patients of dandruff.

Subjective parameters: 1.Following parameters were assessed according to likert scale (0â??Nil, 1-Mild, 2-Moderate and 3-Severe). Itching Scalp shedding Erythema Hair frizz Hair combing ease Hair smoothness 2.Scalp scrapping for 10% KOH staining was done for assessing fungal infection. 3.Scalp scrap for culture of KOH positive patient it was also done twice at pre and post treatment. 4.Total dandruff score scale. 3.Total score of sign and symptomsTimepoint: pre treatment and post treatment ( day 0 and day 28)
